The goal of Natalie's Sunflower daycare is to produce happy, intelligent, well-adjusted children, and to help develop a healthy sense of self-worth that will allow them to take risks, which are essential in the learning process.
We believe that play, when skillfully supervised, is the basis of childhood and an important part of developing physical, cognitive, social and emotional skill.
Here you will find a nurturing, educational environment for children of ages 3 months to 4 years. Because of this multi-aged, home-like setting for children, there are many opportunities for interaction among all the different ages of Sunflower students. Younger children join the play of their older peers and engage in social connections that lead to satisfying and long lasting friendships. Together, they learn compassion, patience, and cooperation.
Classes include infant, toddler, and preschool programs. We offer a wide range of extracurricular programs such as dance, music, and movement.
In each of our daycare centers there are safe, outdoor playgrounds for children to support their physical development through daily exercise.
Nutrition and healthy eating also play an important role in our program, we provide organic food for breakfast and snacks.
We recognize that each child has unique talents, learning styles and personalities. Our highly-qualified teachers and staff are committed to working within each child's comfort zone to ensure optimal social, emotional and educational results.
Classes are kept to a low student-teacher ratio and often fill up quickly.
